And this is what the article of today is looking into the various International Real Estate Associations/Societies you should also know.
Now lets consider the journal and the association is there actually any difference between the both?. Well , there exist no difference it is just that one is superior to the other.

Both articles are in a way related and on the same track because there is no discussion about the journal without involving the association. So most of the real estate journals are found to be owned by most of this real estate association or societies. What this implies that once you are a member of this real estate association automatically you are a member to the journal with the license to write and publish unique and helpful articles on real estate.
The real estate association are associations that basically incorporates real estate researchers, academians, professionals and student as her member all around the world to share ideas, trends,enhance knowledge and promote standard real estate practice in every part of the world through research and education.
We had mentioned earlier in the precious article on International Real Estate Journal you should know that some of the journals and association accepts membership fee to be part of them and usually held her bi-monthly, annual, and bi-annual conferences in different parts of the world.

This was found in 1997 and is a continental wide organisation that seek to promote networking, research and education among property professionals accross Africa. It is affiliated to the International Real Estate Society along with sister societies in North America (ARES), The Pacific Rim Real Society (PPRES) and Latin America (LARES). AFRER membership is currently organized on the region- Southern Africa, Eastern Africa, and Western Africa.
Appraisal Institute is a global professional association of real estate appraiser, with nearly 19000 professionals in almost 60 countries throughout the world. It's mission is to advance professionalism and ethics, global standards, methodologies and practices through professional development of property economies worldwide. It was organised in 1932, the appraisal institute advocates equal opportunity and non discrimination in the appraisal profession and conduct its activities in accordance with applicable laws. Individuals of the appraisal institute benefit from an array of professional education and advocacy program.
The American Real Estate and Urban Association (AREUEA) was originated at the 1964 meeting of the allied social science association in Chicago. AREUEA grew from discussion of individual that recognised the need for more information and analysis in the fields of real estate development, planning and economics. The continuous efforts of this non-profit association has advanced the scope of knowledge in these discipline and has facilitated the exchange of information and opinions among academics, professional,and governmental people who are concerned with urban economics and Real Estate issues.
This is a federation of regional real estate societies. Such society maintain controls over its own activities while participating in the federation to get the benefits of global co-operation. Although IRES does not have individuals as members. Individual get benefits of IRES by joining and participating in the activities of one of the existing affiliated real estate societies.
Affiliated societies under the international real estate society include- African Real Estate Society ( AFRES), American Real Estate Society ( ARES), Asian Real Estate Society (ASRES), European Real Estate Society (ERES), Latin American Real Estate Society (LaRES) and Pacific Rim Real Estate Society (PRRES).
The Counsellors of Real Estate was established exclusively for real estate professionals who provides advice, counsel or guidance which significantly affects real estate decisions, without personal bias or conflict of interest. The purpose of the organization is to be a community of expertise, talent, colleqially and camaraderie among practitioners recognized as leaders in real estate or real estate related counselling and advisory services.
This is a non-profit, educational, and research association. It is a professional membership organization of government assessment officials and other interested in administration of property tax.
The real estate research institute (RERI) is a non- profit organization that was incorporated to stimulate high quality research on real estate investment performance and market fundamentals. Since it'd founding it has provided funding for over 150 research papers and has helped create body of scholarly research on topics that are timely and of interest to institutional real estate investors.
